What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use your browser’s local storage in the same way. They let the site remember information between pages and visits.

Cookies we set

We set first-party marketing-attribution cookies, all prefixed wml_, when you land on the site. They record where your visit came from so that, if you submit a quote request, we can credit the right marketing campaign. They store:

• UTM campaign values (source, medium, campaign, term and content);
• advertising click identifiers (for example Google’s gclid and Meta’s fbc / fbp);
• the first page you landed on.

These wml_ cookies expire 90 days after they are set. The same values are also mirrored in your browser’s local storage so attribution survives if you leave and return. They contain no directly identifying information on their own and are not used to track you across other websites.

Tag manager and analytics

A Google Tag Manager container is included on the site but is disabled by default. If we enable it in future to run analytics or advertising tags, those tags may set additional cookies (for example Google Analytics _ga cookies). We will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before any such non-essential cookies are set.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the wml_ cookies will not stop you using the site or submitting a quote request — it only means we may not attribute your visit to the correct campaign.
